Bourbon pear steak tips

My very own creation! Easy to make, and tasty!

Ingredients

  • 2 steak tips
  • 1 pepper, cut in strips (I usually use red or yellow)
  • 1 pear, cut into chunks
  • olive oil (a tad)
  • sugar (a pinch)
  • salt (a generous pinch)
  • pepper (coupla grinds)
  • cinnamon (a sprinkle)

Directions

  1. Cook the pepper in a little olive oil for a few minutes.
  2. Rub the steak tips with a little oil and salt.
  3. Add the pear and the steak to the pan and cook until the meat reaches the proper temperature (145 for medium-rare).
  4. Remove the pan from heat and drizzle on some bourbon, and stirring it in.
  5. Remove the meat from the pan and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
  6. Add the sugar and cinammon to the pears and peppers only, and then pour over the meat.
  7. I like to serve the whole shebang over brown rice. Enjoy!

Don't use too much olive oil!
