My very own creation! Easy to make, and tasty!
Ingredients
- 2 steak tips
- 1 pepper, cut in strips (I usually use red or yellow)
- 1 pear, cut into chunks
- olive oil (a tad)
- sugar (a pinch)
- salt (a generous pinch)
- pepper (coupla grinds)
- cinnamon (a sprinkle)
Directions
- Cook the pepper in a little olive oil for a few minutes.
- Rub the steak tips with a little oil and salt.
- Add the pear and the steak to the pan and cook until the meat reaches the proper temperature (145 for medium-rare).
- Remove the pan from heat and drizzle on some bourbon, and stirring it in.
- Remove the meat from the pan and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
- Add the sugar and cinammon to the pears and peppers only, and then pour over the meat.
- I like to serve the whole shebang over brown rice. Enjoy!
Don't use too much olive oil!
