Garlicky Arugula Pasta

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. bowtie or similar pasta
  • 4-8 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 lb. grape tomatoes, halved
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 bunch arugula, hand shredded
  • 1 large lemon

Preparation

  1. Cook the pasta al dente.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, cook the halved tomatoes and garlic in olive oil in a large skillet for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the arugula to the skillet and cook until just tender-crisp, about 1 minute.
  4. Add tomato sauce and heat until warm.
  5. Drain the pasta and toss with the sauce. Serve immediately.
