Macaroni and Cheese Casserole

The greatest macaroni and cheese casserole, ever.
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound any kind of elbows, shells, spirals or egg noodles.
- 2-1/4 cups shredded cheese (9 ounces or so) -- mild white cheddar is good
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp salt
- Pepper
- 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375° F.
- Cook noodles till not quite tender, about 10 minutes.
- Layer pasta and 2 cups of the cheese alternately in an oiled 2 quart casserole dish.
- Beat eggs with milk and seasoning and pour over noodles.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese and dot with butter or drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 25 minutes, until eggs are set.
- Let stand 5 minutes; eat it.
