Meatballs (brodie)

I figured that since people probably all have their own different ways of making something as basic as meatballs, we should name the basic stuff like this with the original poster's name.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • A handful of bread crumbs (~1/2 cup)
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan or romano cheese
  • 1 large clove of garlic, minced (or 1/2 tbsp garlic powder)
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning (or fresh oregano and other spices)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • A dash of pepper
  • 2 tbsp minced onions

Tweak the garlic, seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste. I typically add more garlic, and sometimes use a little cayenne pepper to spice them up, depending on what kind of dish they're being used in.

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Pack lightly into whatever size you want.
  3. Cook in your sauce of choice for ~45 minutes.
