Peri-Peri Portugese Hot Sauce

This one is super easy to make and it tastes good on roasted chicken. The great thing is that you can control the spice.

Ingredients/supplies

  • A sealable container, preferably glass
  • Handful of hot peppers, the hotter the better
  • 1 cup Olive oil
  • 1 cup Whiskey

Directions

  1. Place all the ingredients in the container.
  2. Shake vigorously.
  3. Set aside and repeat daily for a couple weeks. The longer you let it steep the hotter it gets.
