Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 8 oz. can of tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp minced onions
  • 1/2 cup finely diced potatoes (optional) (Canned potatoes are fine, ~1/2 can per pound of beef)
  • 1 Tbsp hot sauce (optional)

Cooking Directions

  1. Brown the ground beef, drain fat
  2. Stir in all ingredients
  3. Bring to a slow boil
  4. Once boiling, turn heat down, simmer covered for at least 30 minutes. (Once the ingredients are in, you can simmer for as long as you want, really... it just cooks the flavor in)
