Tilapia mezcal

Ingredients
- 4 Tilapia fillets
- 1 or 2 habanero peppers
- 4 serrano peppers
- 4T worcestershire sauce
- 1 oz. tequila
- 4T butter
- 1t each of thyme, basil, cayenne pepper
- 2t crushed red pepper
For a less spicy version, remove the seeds and ribs from the habaneros before chopping.
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350 °F
- Chop habaneros & serranos
Directions
- Lay tilapia fillets in shallow baking dish, season with thyme, basil, cayenne pepper and crushed red pepper
- Sprinkle chopped peppers on the fillets, and add 1T butter to the top of each
- Splash worcestershire sauce and tequila over the fillets and cover with foil
- Broil in oven for 45 minutes (or until fish is flaky & tender)
