Tuna Sandwich

Here's one I threw together while trying to find better ways to eat tuna.

Ingredients

  • 1 standard can of tuna in water. Albacore or regular, it doesn't matter. I actually prefer regular for this recipe.
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil (I never really measure). More for extra flavor, less if you're on a diet.
  • 1-2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar. Again, I don't really measure. It's more or less to taste.
  • Pinch of sea salt (kosher is too big)
  • A quick shake of garlic powder
  • Optional: your choice of cheese

Directions

  1. Drain tuna.
  2. Mix everything in bowl.
  3. Put on bread.
  4. Voila, sandwich!

For extra fun, toast the bread. Then throw a slice or two of swiss cheese on top, and drop it under the broiler for a quick tuna melt. Mmm, mm! Cheap AND tasty!
