White cake
From Ars Cookbook
White Cake
Ingredients:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup milk
- 3 cups flour
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs. Combine dry ingredients and add to batter alternately with milk. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
